Clean Tech & Renewable Energy Industry Consultant

The role

You will work with ATC and its clients to understand the UK market, develop practical market-entry strategies and build relevant commercial and industry relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on UK market entry, positioning and route-to-market strategy.
• Identify and connect relevant customers, channel partners, suppliers and other organisations across the UK industry ecosystem.
• Support business development, partnership discussions and market-facing meetings.
• Help clients understand the UK value chain, supply chain and local operating requirements.
• Provide insight into relevant funding routes, investors and growth opportunities.

What we are looking for

• Relevant experience in the UK clean technology, renewable energy or wider energy-transition market.
• A good understanding of the UK market, key participants, commercial routes and supply chains.
• Experience in strategy, business development, partnerships, investment or industry advisory work.
• Relevant education or professional background in energy, engineering, business, economics, finance, public policy or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English, sound commercial judgement and the ability to work independently.

Desirable

• Relevant relationships across industry, customers, suppliers, investors, advisers or public-sector organisations.
• Experience supporting international businesses entering the UK.
• Understanding of Chinese or Asian business culture; Mandarin is helpful but not essential.
